LCCC Statement of Faith
1. 我們信獨一真神。在 神的永恆當中，祂自己與祂的聖潔、慈愛、知識、智慧和權能，皆完全、無限。 神是宇宙的創造者，統管並君臨萬有。祂啟示自己為三一真神﹕具聖父、聖子、聖靈三位不同位格，卻仍為一位真神。

We believe in THE ONE TRUE GOD: who is perfect, infinite, and eternal in His being, in His holiness, love, knowledge, wisdom, and power. He is Creator of the universe and sovereign over all, yet everywhere present in all of creation. He is revealed to us as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, three distinct persons in one.

2. 我們信主耶穌基督，三一真神的第二位格，永恆的道，父的獨生子。祂藉童女感孕而生，同時保有不變之神性。祂將自己獻上，成為贖價，背負了眾人的罪，為我們 受刑罰﹔以榮耀的身體復活﹔升至高天，以大祭司的身分為祂的子民祈求。我們相信，基督很快就會再來，親自以 神的公義審判不信的世界。

We believe in THE LORD JESUS CHRIST: who is the second Person of the Triune God, the eternal Word and Only Begotten Son; that without any change in His divine Person, He became man by miracle of the Virgin Birth. He gave Himself in substitutionary death upon the cross, bearing the sin of the world, and suffering its full penalty in our stead; that He arose from the grave in a glorified body; He ascended into Heaven where He is our only High Priest and Advocate.

3. 我們信聖靈，三一真神的第三位格。聖靈運行在萬物之中，是救贖之工的啟示者與施行者。聖靈的工作是為了榮耀主耶穌基督，讓人為罪為義為審判自己責備自己。 透過基督的功勞，聖靈重生、內住、洗淨、保守、並恩膏 神的子民。除此之外，祂指引、教導、充滿敬虔的聖徒，賜給他們力量，使他們成聖。

We believe in THE HOLY SPIRIT: who is the Third Person of the Trinity, and the divine Agent in nature, revelation, and redemption; that His ministry is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment; That He regenerates, indwells, baptizes, seals, and anoints all who become children of God through Christ; that He further empowers, guides, teaches, sanctifies, and fills believers who daily surrender to Him.

4. 我們信聖經新舊約六十六卷書皆為 神的話，逐字默示，（原本）毫無謬誤。聖經是人類信仰、生活、行事為人，唯一的、具有絕對權威的標準。

We believe in THE HOLY SCRIPTURE: accepting fully the writings of the Old and New Testaments as the very Word of God, verbally inspired in all parts and therefore wholly without error as originally given of God, the only infallible and authoritative rule of faith, life, and conduct.

5. 我們信人有罪性與罪行，已經失落與 神隔絕。 神按照自己的形象與樣式，直接創造亞當與夏娃﹔亞當夏娃故意背逆神啟的旨意，成為罪人、墮落人類的先祖﹔任何人都無法自救，落在 神公義的審判與忿怒之下。

We believe ALL PEOPLE ARE BY NATURE AND CHOICE SINFUL AND THEREFORE LOST AND ALIENATED FROM GOD: that Adam and Eve were the direct creation of God, made in His image and likeness; that by personal disobedience to the revealed will of god, they became sinful creatures, the parents of a fallen race; that all people within themselves have no possible means of achieving salvation and are under the righteous judgment and wrath of God.

6. 我們信本乎恩因著信的拯救， 神的拯救是白白賜下的禮物，人沒有任何的美德與功勞配得之。人單單透過個人在耶穌基督裡的信心，領受 神的救恩。按 神的旨意被揀選、蒙拯救之人，永不失落。

We believe in SALVATION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH: that salvation is the free gift of God, neither merited nor secured by any virtue or work of mankind, but received only by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and that the redeemed shall never perish.

7. 我們信撒旦存在，他本為受造的天使，因為驕傲與邪僻的愚妄背叛 神，完全墮落，成為 神與 神的子民的大仇敵，邪惡天使的首領，謊言的父，管割著這幽暗世界。撒旦終將被審判的結局已經定下，只要依靠 神所賜的軍裝、羔羊的寶血、聖靈的能力，聖徒可以抵擋並勝過撒旦。

We believe in THE EXISTENCE OF SATAN: who was created an angelic being, who through pride and wicked ambition rebelled against God, thus becoming totally depraved, the great adversary of God and His people, leader of all evil angels, the deceiver and ruler of this present world; that his final doom is certain; that we are able to resist and overcome him only in the armor of God, by the blood of the Lamb and through the power of the Holy Spirit.

8. 我們信基督要再來，祂將親自臨到，並不遲延，祂要帶來 神公義的審判，在一切不虔不義的人身上、就是那些不信，阻擋真理的人。

We believe in THE SECOND COMING OF CHRIST: that His coming is imminent and personal; that He will pour out the righteous judgments of God upon the unbelieving world.

9. 我們信來世、身體的復活、永遠的審判。得救之人的靈魂在死後立即在天堂與主耶穌同在﹔未得救之人的靈魂則降入深淵，在那裡受囚禁與刑罰，直到最後審判的日子—到那時，他們的身體要復活，受最後的審判，丟在地獄中，受最終與永遠的刑罰。

We believe in FUTURE LIFE, BODILY RESURRECTION, AND ETERNAL JUDGMENT: that the souls and spirits of the saved at death go immediately to be with Jesus Christ in Heaven; the unsaved at death descend immediately into Hades where they are kept under punishment until the final day of judgment, at which time their bodies shall be raised from the grave, thereupon they shall be judged and cast into Hell, the place of final and everlasting punishment.

10. 我們信聖徒皆祭司。耶穌基督是我們的大祭司，每一個重生之人都與神有直接的關係，而無需其他人作中保﹔每一個信徒都在獨自學習聖經與禱告的權利與責任。

We believe in the PRIESTHOOD OF ALL BELIEVERS: that every born-again Person has direct access to God without the need of a human priest because Christ is our great High Priest; that the believer has the right and responsibility to personally Study the Scriptures and to pray.

11. 我們信耶穌基督的主權。耶穌基督是教會唯一的元首，教會是祂的身體，由被聖靈重生的真信徒組成。

We believe in THE LORDSHIP OF JESUS CHRIST: that He alone is Head of the Church which is His body into which all true believers are immediately baptized (placed) by the Holy Spirit.

12. 我們信地方教會的重要性。新約時代的地方教會由當地重生、受洗的信徒構成，以合一的組織來一起敬拜 神、祈禱、團契、教導、見證 神，並最終積極地執行 神所託付的大使命。我們信大公教會由所有信靠主耶穌基督的信徒組成。

We believe in THE IMPORTANCE OF THE LOCAL CHURCH: that a New Testament church is a local assembly of born-again, baptized believers united in organization to meet for worship of God, prayer, fellowship, teaching, a united testimony, and to actively engage in carrying out the Great Commission. We believe the universal church is composed of all those who put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

13. 我們信 神已經賜下所需的屬靈恩賜給教會，使其得以完成 神命定的教導與傳福音的使命。 神為教會賜下有教導恩賜的人才，為了裝備聖徒﹔聖靈在重生聖徒之時，亦 將屬靈的恩賜賞給每個信徒，使其可以造就教會。我們相信 神現今依然可以行神蹟，可以並施行醫治。聖經顯明，有幾項恩賜對教會至關重要，並可以用來檢驗主使 徒的事工。

We believe that THE CHURCH HAS BEEN GIVEN SPIRITUAL GIFTS: to fulfill its God ordained mission of edification and evangelism. These include gifted persons who are given for the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry and spiritual gifts which each member of the body of Christ received from the Holy Spirit at the time of salvation. We do believe that God can perform miracles today and that He can and does heal. Scripture indicates that several of the sign gifts were foundational to the church and to authenticate the ministry of the Apostles.

14. 我們信賜給地方教會的聖禮，只有洗禮及聖餐禮。信徒藉著洗禮，象徵歸 入耶穌基督的死、和祂一同埋葬、一同復活。信徒藉著聖餐禮，擘餅分杯，來持續記念基督為我們捨身流血。

We believe that THE ONLY ORDINANCES GIVEN TO THE LOCAL CHURCH ARE BAPTISM AND THE LORD’S SUPPER: that Baptism is by immersion of believers, thus portraying the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ; that the Lord’s Supper is the partaking of the bread and cup by the believer as a continuing memorial of the broken body and shed blood of Christ.
